Curtis McGuire is a legal worker, photographer, graphic designer and a grassroots community organizer. He grew up in Northern Michigan on a small farm with his twelve siblings. Curtis moved to Detroit in 2004 where he attended the College for Creative Studies, receiving his BFA in 2008. In 2012 Curtis joined the Critical Moment Newspaper Collective, a local and free newspaper that covers grassroots efforts, local politics, and art. He is presently employed by the Detroit and Michigan Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild, the Constitutional Litigation Associates, and he teaches in Foundations at the College for Creative Studies. He is on the Editorial Collective of Critical Moment Newspaper and the Trumbullplex Theater Collective.
